Sky Crock

Sky Crock is an ancient and lonely being with a reputation for sudden anger that, although unintentional, destroys any life it happens upon. One evening, he barely caught himself before automatically roasting a small bird as it landed on a barren tree previously singed by the Crock’s breath. Excited, he snapped his mouth shut even though he wanted to. Say hello. The bird, unaware of impending danger, sang the old Crock a lovely melody, lulling the ancient one into peace as a smile formed on his lips.
